The Houston Texans have one player who is standing out on their roster this season.
While the team is 1-4-1 this season, they at least have something good coming from this disappointing season.
Their left tackle, Laremy Tunsil, is giving them something special during an otherwise disastrous season.
So what is he doing that’s so special, giving him a big year with the Texans?
If you need pass protection, Tunsil is the guy for any team during the 2022 season.

His 87.7 grade by Pro Football Focus comes as the best by any left tackle in 2022.
However, the grade might have been higher if it wasn’t for the one sack he gave up.
But even with the one sack he’s given up this season, he’s a solid blindside pass protector.
While he’s shining, the rest of the Texans roster isn’t doing well.
With Tunsil doing great, and the Texans at the bottom of their division, some NFL teams might call on him before the NFL trade deadline.
While the temptation is there to trade the star left tackle, the Texans’ future can’t afford this trade.
However, the temptation comes from his contract nearly doubling in 2023, as he carries a $35.2 million cap hit for 2023.
With the Texans’ draft capital, they can rebuild their roster in 2023 while keeping him.
While they should keep him as a building block around their 2023 season, his contract might cause them to part ways with him.
