Jimmy Butler sounds off on Grant Williams after viral moment propels Heat to Game 2 win

After Grant Williams hit a three to put the Boston Celtics up by nine over the Miami Heat with just under 6:30 remaining in the fourth quarter, the scene was truly something you'd see out of a movie. Williams decided to say a few words to Jimmy Butler, but the Heat star, who's been one of the best players in the postseason, opted to let his game do the talking.

Following that basket by Williams, Butler immediately responded, going down on the other end and finishing an and-one on the Celtics forward. At that point, Butler immediately had words for Williams, and the two began jawing before receiving double technicals.

The damage had been done by Williams, though, as Butler wasn't finished responding. Shortly after, he scored both the game-tying bucket to even things up at 100 and then gave the Heat the lead, 102-100, on the next possession.

Butler and the Heat proceeded to finish off another stunning upset of the Celtics, winning 111-105 and extending their series lead to 2-0, with both victories coming in Boston.

After the game, Butler addressed the moment and comeback by saying that people talking to him makes him "smile" while proceeding to give Williams some praise in the process. But as Bleacher Report revealed, Butler did have one final parting shot by stating, "I just don't know if I'm the best person to talk to."

Although it may have been a bit of sarcasm mixed with a jab at Williams from Butler, he's certainly not wrong. The Heat star has been the definition of clutch this postseason and has been the driving force behind Miami jumping out to a 2-0 series lead on the road.

Through the start of this series, Butler has averaged 31 points, 6.5 assists, 6.5 rebounds and an incredible 4.5 steals in two games. He's also shot 48 percent from the field while knocking down 92.3 percent of his free-throw attempts. If Butler continues to play at this level, the Celtics might be hoping just to force a Game 5.
