Two Wildcats shooting the ball well from deep will help Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament

In the NCAA Tournament, you always need a few players to step up and give you more points than you expected them to put on the stat sheet. 

Two Kentucky players are shooting the ball well of late, as Justin Edwards and DJ Wagner are lighting things up from three. 

Over Wagner's last three games, he is 9-14 from three for a percentage of 64. Before those three games, Wagner was really struggling from deep after taking a while off with his ankle injury, but he has turned things around. 

Over Edwards's last five games, he is 10-14 from three for a percentage of 71. Edwards has played all-around great basketball of late, getting to the rim and finishing while also providing solid defense. 

With the NCAA Tournament right around the corner, Kentucky fans should feel confident in what they are going to get from Rob Dillingham, Antonio Reeves, and Reed Sheppard, but if Wagner and Edwards play well in the postseason, this team can win number nine. 

Kentucky's depth is what makes this team so special, as they just have more players in the rotation than a lot of other teams they go up against. This will help when you have to play a lot of games in a short period of time in the SEC and NCAA Tournaments. 

If Wagner and Edwards can keep playing well, perhaps they can sneak back into the back end of the first round of the NBA Draft. Both of these players are getting hot at the right time for Kentucky.
