Call Me Oprah!
Hey everyone! Between speaking for schools and organizations, putting together a basketball camp, and developing a mentoring program for young women, I've been pretty busy lately. And now I can add one more goal to my list: GET A CALL FROM OPRAH. Actually, it’ll probably be a call from one of her producers first, but whatever. Let me explain.
When Oprah announced she was leaving her show, it was quickly followed by the announcement that she would be launching her own network. But it gets even better than that! Now she’s having a contest to pick people for a reality show, where the winner will get her or his OWN SHOW! I couldn’t pass up such a chance, especially since I’ve always wanted to be on TV, so I entered.
I NEED YOUR HELP. The popular vote counts so please watch my audition video HERE and vote for it! There’s no limit to number of times you can vote so if you really think I should be on TV then it’d be great if you could bookmark it and vote as often as you can. Wow. I'm really shocked at the people talking down on me for having ambition and thinking positively. Heaven forbid I have confidence in myself. Plus, this post didn't talk about how great I am; it only said what I am doing. It's cool though. All that matters is that I know I'm not self centered, and so do the people that know me. Thanks to those that voted.
